Registration is not open yet but here is some helpful information:

The registration fee is $50.
Registration includes a light breakfast, lunch and some amazing swag.
Space is limited, so registration is based on a first come, first served basis.

Know your right training coming up. Details are below

As classified employees, we are afforded many basic rights by law or through collective bargaining. Learn about your rights on the job and what you can do to protect yourself if your rights are violated. The emphasis of CSEA’s Know Your Rights training workshop is to assist members in detecting violations of the law and their collective bargaining agreements.

Join us on Wednesday, August 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Orange Field Office as we discuss the following areas where your rights are exercised:

Personnel Files
Safety
Leaves
Layoffs
Benefits
Hours of Employment
Right to Representation
Disciplinary Action
Value of union membership and how you can make a difference!
Community and conversation at 4 p.m. is optional. A light, complimentary dinner will be served.

Day 1 of Conference was incredible! We had the honor of hearing from keynote speaker Dolores Huerta, whose words inspired and reminded us of the power of organizing. We heard from both past and present Executive Directors. Discussed, debated and voted on resolutions.
Saw a record breaking 625 new delegates. Even had some fun with a cash grab! Looking forward to all that the rest of the conference has in store.
