With over 300 kids, Westerly Youth Soccer could use some coach’s for recreational league. Need a few U6, U9, and 1 U12 coach! This is a great problem to have so if any students in middle or high school need community service hours, reach out! Coaches receive 50% off their players registration plus get to have a positive influence in the community!

If your child has not signed up yet but want to play and you are willing to coach your player will immediately be placed on a team.

As a reminder, no experience is necessary we can help with ideas point your own direction of some amazing YouTube videos. You just have to have a positive attitude in a willingness to get out there and step up and help.

⚽ **Fall 2026 WYSA Recreational Soccer Registration Update** ⚽

Regular registration for the **Fall 2026 Westerly Youth Soccer Association Recreational Season has officially closed** while we begin forming teams and creating game schedules.

🐾 **WYSA Pups:** Our Pups program is currently **at capacity**, and we are no longer accepting registrations for this age group.

⚽ **Ages 6–16:** We are still accepting **waitlist registrations** for players who are **age 6 by August 1, 2026, through age 16**.

**Important Waitlist Information:**

• Registrations received after **August 15, 2026** will automatically be placed on the waitlist.
• Joining the waitlist **does not guarantee team placement**. We will work to accommodate as many players as possible based on available roster space.
• The **late registration fee is $140 per player**.
• Due to the late registration period, **uniforms may be delayed for the first two weeks of the season**.
• If we are unable to place your child on a team, a **full refund will be processed on September 5, 2026**.

We appreciate your patience while our volunteers work hard behind the scenes to build teams and prepare for another great season!

⚽ U16: We are currently just short of the number of players needed to form a team, so if you’ve been thinking about playing this fall, now is the time to register!

⚽ U12: We’d also love to add more players to our U12 group!

Registration remains open for ALL age groups, from our youngest players through U16. No previous soccer experience is necessary — come play, have fun, and be part of the WYSA community!

💙 A Message from Our WYSA Community 💙

Many people throughout Westerly know Cory and his family through soccer, school, and the countless ways they’ve been a part of our community over the years. Today, they are facing unimaginable challenges.

Following a serious car accident, Cory has a long road to recovery ahead. As his family focuses on his healing and navigating the days and months to come, our community has an opportunity to come together and remind them that they are not walking this journey alone.

One of the things that makes Westerly so special is that when one family is hurting, we all show up. Whether you’ve shared a soccer field with the family, know them through town, or simply want to help a neighbor in need, every act of kindness matters.
