💦☀️ Water Day Fun! ☀️💦

Our friends had a splashing good time during Water Day! From sprinklers and water play to lots of giggles and smiles, our little learners enjoyed cooling off while exploring, playing, and making summer memories with their friends. 🌈💙

Water play is a wonderful way for children to build sensory skills, practice coordination, and stay active while having fun!

We loved seeing so many happy faces today! 😄💦

☀️ Before the summer temperatures got too hot, some of our infants enjoyed spending time outdoors! 👶💙

From feeling the gentle breeze to exploring the sights and sounds around them, our little ones had a wonderful time experiencing the summer weather. Outdoor play provides so many opportunities for learning, discovery, and fun!

We can't wait for more summer adventures with our babies while making sure they stay safe, cool, and comfortable. 🌿🌞

It is with great pleasure that we announce Jumacia Dock as our Teacher of the Year for the school. Jumacia has been a valuable member of Cadence Academy Preschool's Transition team since December 2024. Her dedication and hard work have significantly impacted the lives of our children and families, and we are grateful for her contributions.

🥔 Kids Cafe Fun with Potatoes! 🥔

Today at Kids Cafe, we explored all things potatoes! The kiddos had a hands-on learning experience as they diced, peeled, smashed, and taste tested potatoes in different ways. This activity helped build fine motor skills, encouraged sensory exploration, and gave everyone a chance to try something new!

There were lots of smiles, curious faces, and happy little chefs in the classroom today! 💛👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today we worked on matching shapes and colors using puzzles! 🧩🎨 The children practiced problem-solving skills as they figured out how to fit each piece into the correct spot. Activities like puzzles help build shape and color recognition, fine motor skills, and critical thinking — all while having fun and learning through play! 💙💛💚

🎨 Messy Masterpieces 🎨

Our little artists had so much fun exploring colors and patterns with cardboard tube stamping! The kiddos dipped, stamped, and created beautiful circle prints while strengthening their creativity and fine motor skills. 💜💛💗

Simple materials + big imaginations = colorful masterpieces! 🌈✨

✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

Watching these kids (and many more!) grow from classroom to classroom and now head off to kindergarten is such a bittersweet moment. 💛 From first hugs and tiny steps to big smiles and growing independence, we are so proud of how far they’ve come!

We are honored to be part of their journey and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish in kindergarten and beyond. 🎓🍎

Today at Kids Cafe, we gathered together to read the classic story *Stone Soup*! 🥣📚

After the story, the children helped make their very own stone soup by adding different ingredients and working together as a team. It was a fun hands-on activity that encouraged sharing, cooperation, and trying new foods! 🥕🥔🧅

We even sent some home so families could enjoy a special dinner together tonight. 💛

Learning is always more exciting when we can bring stories to life!
