In celebration of EMS Week, Memorial students worked alongside our incredible art teacher, Mrs. Weldon, to create thoughtful artwork and heartfelt messages celebrating the dedicated emergency responders at West Springfield Police Department, West Springfield Fire Department, AMR, and our local hospitals.

This meaningful project gave students the opportunity to learn more about EMS while expressing their appreciation and gratitude for the first responders who care for and support our community every day.

During National Police Week, members of the West Springfield Police Department were honored to receive thoughtful artwork and heartfelt messages from the incredible first grade students at Memorial School.

Your creativity, kindness, and support truly brightened our week and meant so much to our Officers and staff. We are grateful for the time and effort each student put into their artwork, and we thank you for showing your appreciation for law enforcement in such a special way.

A big thank you as well to the teachers and staff who helped make it all possible. Your support and encouragement are greatly appreciated by all of us at WSPD! 💙👮‍♂️👮‍♀️🎨
