💙Today’s treat was hosted by The LaBarre Family. Julie and Jay have an alumni student who attended Mittineague. Julie is also alumni herself attending grades k-5 at Mitt. She is also a past president of our PTO board. A huge thank you for reaching out to PTO and coordinating with Kelly from Dirty Sip Society to end the week with a very thoughtful and tasty treat. 🐾

Teacher Appreciation Week is a reminder of just how much our educators pour into our children day in and day out. Today’s loaded potato bar lunch was simply a small gesture of gratitude, but the appreciation runs much deeper.

So grateful to have a community that always finds ways to support one another, whether in big moments or the everyday ones. Some kindnesses stay with you, and the only real way to honor them is to carry them forward. Thank you for all you do for our kiddos. 💙

A huge thank you to all of our amazing teachers for everything you do each day. Your hard work, care, and dedication mean so much to our kids and to our whole school community. We are very grateful! Thank you for helping our children learn, grow, and succeed. 💙

Before it was a school… it was a firehouse.

Built in the 1800s to serve and protect our town, this beautiful building stood strong through generations. After the Civil War, it became something just as powerful. It became a place of learning, growth, and change.

For more than 160 years, these walls have held the voices of students, teachers, and families who helped shape our community.

💙And in 2026, this chapter will close.💙

To honor this incredible legacy, we are releasing the FINAL official school merchandise ever created. It features our beloved slogan “Be the Change” and the closing year 2026.

This isn’t just spirit wear. It’s history. It’s pride. It’s a piece of a building that has served this city since the 1800’s.

Alumni, former staff, families past and present, this is your opportunity to own a piece of that legacy before the doors close for the last time.

When it’s gone, it’s gone forever.

Let’s carry this legacy forward , because we will forever strive to “Be the Change that you wish to see in the world”. 💙
