💫Health, Wellness and Fatloss Update💫

I am close to 7 months postpartum and I am very happy with my progress. I've been in maintenance mode for about 3 months. I also haven't exercised in roughly the same amount of time.

I don't want to start any drama so I won't name any names. There's a certain baby 👀 that decided sleep was for the weak.

So here I am - Mom of 3, full time career, sleepless nights with a baby who's constantly growing and developing, yadda yadda yadda.

Every minute of downtime I have, I use to rest. That's the current season for me.

And that's life. It's not realistic for me to do it all but Imagine if I were to also start beating myself up because I won't prioritize exercise. No thanks.

I do still have fatloss and aesthetic goals to achieve, but I'll get there when I get there.

I've been sleeping on delicata squash and I'm upset with myself.

It's so delicious! I ate the entire tray 🤣

I washed and de-pulp/pitted two medium squashes and cut them in relatively even half moons. Then I placed them in a single layer on two sheet pans.

Sprayed with avocado oil and dusted with salt, pepper, onion powder, and curry powder. Roasted on 425 for 30 minutes and then turned the oven off and left the squash inside.

The last part wasn't intentional, but I really like how they came out. The perfect amount of roasted.

The curry powder made the dish extra special I think.

I've been very busy and a lot more tired.

I haven't gone out for a run at all this week.

Parents with full time work just don't have the same freedom as others who can easily commit going to the gym on a whim, sign up for a program, etc.

The good news is that for fatloss, all you need is a calorie deficit.

Pick one thing and do it consistently.

This is 4 months of doing my thing consistently. 🙌

⏩avoiding carbs
⏩putting butter in my coffee
⏩skipping meat and dairy

You can if you want to, but I don't want to.

I ✅AM✅

⏩sticking to a weekly calorie goal
⏩at as much as I can as long as it's within my calorie budget
⏩being thoughtful about my choices - I know that loading up on protein and vegetables will keep me fuller longer
⏩have fun with my food - I love flavors and textures

It is really important to me to enjoy my food. If I didn't, I would never be successful.

You don't have to be miserable when you are losing weight. Take it from me. ♥️
