🌊🐋 Big News from Wavy Whales Swim Academy 🐋🌊

To my amazing Wavy Whales families—this one is bittersweet.

I’m so excited to share that I have accepted a new opportunity that will be relocating me to Tucson, AZ, starting June 1, 2026. While this is an exciting next chapter for me, it is incredibly hard to step away from the community we’ve built together here. 💙

If you have already purchased sessions with me, please reach out so we can get them scheduled and completed during the month of May. I’ve opened up additional hours to make sure I can accommodate everyone before I go!

One thing that brings me so much comfort is knowing your swimmers will still be in great hands. I’d love to recommend an instructor I absolutely adore:

🌊🐳 Wavy Whales Swim Academy Update 🐳🌊

Hi Wavy Whales families!

I’ll be taking a little time away this Saturday & Sunday to cheer on my daughter as she competes in her aerial competition in Sarasota, FL 🎭✨

We would love all the good vibes and luck sent her way! 💙

I’ll be back in the water and ready to go starting April 20th, and all classes will resume as scheduled next weekend.

🌊🚩 Beach Safety Reminder from Wavy Whales Swim Academy 🚩🌊

Before you jump in the ocean, always check the beach warning flags! They’re there to keep you and your family safe:

🔴 Red Flag – High hazard (strong currents & rough waves)
🟡 Yellow Flag – Medium hazard (use caution)
🟢 Green Flag – Low hazard (still stay alert!)
🟣 Purple Flag – Marine life present (jellyfish, stingrays, etc.)

Even strong swimmers can struggle with rip currents—when in doubt, stay out! Always swim near a lifeguard and keep a close eye on your little swimmers 💙

Wavy Whales Swim Academy | May 16–24

At Wavy Whales Swim Academy, we don’t just teach kids how to swim… we teach them how to stay safe when it matters most.

🚨 Special Water Safety Week Event 🚨
During the week of May 16–24, students will participate in a real-life safety skill session:

👕 Swim with Clothes On Practice
Because accidents don’t happen in swimsuits.

Your child will learn how to:
✔️ Stay calm after an unexpected fall into water
✔️ Swim safely while wearing clothes
✔️ Remove heavy clothing in the water
✔️ Get to the wall and climb out independently
✔️ Build confidence in real-world scenarios

💡 These are life-saving skills every child should know.
