🚁 COMING SOON — SKIDS UP: CRITICAL CARE EDUCATION

We’re excited to announce a new branch of Morgan County EMS Training and Education Institute — Skids Up: Critical Care Education.

This program is being built for providers who want to take their critical care knowledge and decision-making to the next level. Skids Up will offer both initial and continuing education geared toward the CCP-C, FP-C, and CFRN certifications.

The focus will be practical, high-level critical care education with realistic scenarios, advanced patient management, and hands-on training that can actually be applied in the field and during transport.

🎓 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS CAN APPLY!
You don’t have to wait until after graduation to get started. Eligible high school seniors can begin working toward their EMT certification while still in school!

Licensed nurses interested in entering EMS can ask us about our accelerated EMT course option designed to build on their existing healthcare education and experience.

Katie passed her AEMT NREMT on her FIRST attempt! 🚑💙💛

That’s a huge accomplishment on its own, but it’s even more impressive when you look at the pass rates. The AEMT NREMT has historically had a lower pass rate than both the EMT and Paramedic exams, which makes passing it on the first try something to be especially proud of.

A lot of hard work, studying, and dedication went into this, and it paid off.

🚨 EXCITING NEWS FOR EMS EDUCATION IN MORGAN COUNTY! 🚨

Morgan County EMS Training & Education Institute has been awarded a Rural Health Transformation Crisis to Care EMS Training Equipment Grant!

This funding will allow our EMS education program to continue growing and expanding through the purchase of a high-fidelity, artificial intelligence–powered patient simulator, along with additional high-fidelity training equipment and materials.

These advanced resources will give our EMT, Advanced EMT, and Continueing Education students more realistic, hands-on training experiences and help prepare them to confidently respond to emergencies in our rural communities.

We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited about what it means for the future of EMS education in Morgan County and throughout Eastern Kentucky.
