This includes placing your baby on their back to sleep, using a firm and flat surface like a crib or bassinet, and keeping the sleep area free of soft objects and loose bedding. Additionally, it's recommended to share a room (but not a bed) with your baby for at least the first six months of their life. Not only does this make it easier for parents to monitor their baby's breathing and movements, but it also helps with bonding and breastfeeding.
