I teach students 12+ what it means to "sing healthy" and have "good technique" with an active approach that works for most learning styles. Vocal instruction is geared toward a natural, balanced sound with healthy focus and strength. Each of my students learn to access their true singing voice, not an artificial version of what they think it’s “supposed” to be. Some singing or music experience necessary. Variety of repertoire is explored: classical, folk, opera, musical theater (legitimate style). Please note, I do not teach CCM/pop singing. As students progress in the curriculum, we explore all aspects of singing and performing:
balanced posture
focused energy
releasing tension
natural breathing
pitch accuracy
breath management
agility
resume preparation
selecting and preparing audition pieces
effective audition presentation
basic music theory training

ENROLLMENT OPEN for a cute kid's singing and music class!
Music Time with Miss Julia has just opened another class for children ages 5-7. Located in Daybreak, the new class meets on Wednesdays 4:15-4:45, starting Jan 23.

Kids learn singing, ear training, music theory, and performance at an introductory level. Concepts are reinforced with fun activities and 3 recitals per year.

$40/month per child.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Sign up before February 1 and get $10 off first month's tuition
