With fewer than five years remaining to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), The Sustainable Development Goals Report 2026 will deliver a candid assessment of progress and setbacks, calling for renewed global focus on the Goals.

The report highlights real gains across the Goals, demonstrating that purposeful global action can transform lives at scale. However, progress remains uneven and insufficient in the face of serious headwinds—from escalating conflicts and slowing economic growth to climate chaos, rising debt burdens and declining aid.

The SIE Society is a member of the SDG Media Compact and actively works to further the goals of the SDGs through educational channels and the creative storytelling projects of its members.
