Day 1 at the Impact + Profit 2025 Conference has shown just how transformative socially-conscious storytelling can be.

We started with a strong call-to-action from industry leaders at the joint SIE Society & Johns Hopkins CCP welcome and quickly moved into content that spans across crucial societal topics — from mental health to environmental impact, from media representation to equity in storytelling.

Particularly inspiring were sessions like “Bigger than a Blockbuster: How Turned YouTube Influence into Action” and “Environmental Stories as Living Systems: Narrative, Partnership, and Design for Enduring Impact” — reminding us that stories don’t end on screen, they ripple into communities.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s panels, networking sessions and new collaborations. This is more than a conference — it’s a movement.
