Somehow, the back-to-school countdown is already here! Whether you’re soaking up the last days of summer, finishing up your school supply shopping, or wondering where the time went (we’re wondering too 👀), the 2026-2027 school year will be here before we know it.

Here’s to a fantastic 2026-2027 school year!

There is still time to register for Camp Kindergarten August 11-15.

This year's camp will focus on building kindergarten readiness skills while helping students learn what it means to be a Bucket Filler—showing kindness, following directions, making new friends, and helping create a caring classroom community where everyone feels they belong.

We can't wait to watch our future kindergarteners learn, grow, and fill each other's buckets as they get ready for an amazing school year!

The countdown is on… just 24 days until the first day of school! ⏰

This week, we welcomed our newest Avon Grove High School students for New Student Orientation! From exploring the building and meeting teachers to connecting with classmates, students took their first steps toward an exciting year ahead.

Starting high school is a big milestone, and we're committed to ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging, stays engaged, and is included in our school community from day one.

Here's to new friendships, new opportunities, and an incredible year of learning. We can't wait to welcome all of our students back on Monday, August 24!

Join us on July 29 from 1-2:30 pm for Avon Grove High School New Student Orientation! Students will have the opportunity to tour the building, meet staff, connect with classmates, and learn what to expect as they begin their AGHS journey.

The Avon Grove School District is pleased to announce the appointment of four accomplished educational leaders who will serve as principals and assistant principal beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.

Dr. Kim Hall – Principal, Penn London Elementary School

Kelly Vaughn – Principal, Avon Grove Intermediate School

Mark DeEmilio – Principal, Avon Grove Middle

Dr. Amanda Cahill – Assistant Principal, Avon Grove High School

Each of these leaders is committed to creating learning environments where every student is known, challenged, and supported. Their leadership will help foster the skills and experiences of a Future Ready Avon Grove Graduate—encouraging students to become critical thinkers, effective communicators, collaborative leaders, adaptable learners, and responsible citizens.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hall, Ms. Vaughn, Mr. DeEmilio, and Dr. Cahill to their new roles and congratulating them on this exciting milestone!

Giving Back to Our Community

Last week, Avon Grove School District staff spent time across the community supporting several of our valued community partners through volunteer service projects.

From organizing books and assisting programs to lending a helping hand where it was needed most, our team was proud to support the Avon Grove Library, Avon Grove Lions Club, Jennersville YMCA, and Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene.

We are grateful for the organizations that help strengthen our community and provide opportunities for our students and families. Thank you for all you do—we're proud to partner with you in making Avon Grove a special place to live, learn, and grow.

Congratulations to our 1st Annual Future Teachers Signing Day participants! Last week, we celebrated Avon Grove seniors who are taking the next step toward careers in education. These students are preparing to make a difference in classrooms, inspire future generations, and continue a tradition of lifelong learning. We are proud of their commitment to serving others and hope they when they begin their career in education.
