😁📝Positive affirmations can have a significant effect on the brain, as supported by numerous research studies and analyses. They activate brain systems linked to self-related processing and reward. This means that when people practice positive affirmations, specific areas of their brain responsible for self-reflection and valuation are stimulated, which may lead to feelings of reward or personal satisfaction.

Today, students in various Education and Training classes added their own affirmations to Mrs. Lambert’s Affirmation Wall!

Columbia Brazoria ISD Convocation is always a fun time, but today is extra special. The Columbia High School MET Program started two years ago with hopes of growing future educators.

Today, Convocation was attended by two successful CHS MET Program grads who are now members of the CBISD Teacher Apprentice Program and serving as Instructional Aides!

Introducing the second cohort of Columbia High School MET (Mentors in Education and Training) Program students. The MET Program was established during the 2023-2024 school year as an intra-curricular replacement for our traditional PALS program. 

This group is comprised of student athletes, FFA members, cheerleaders, Dancing Dolls, CHS band members, thespians, UIL scholars, and all around amazing leaders!
