You might see some of our ECC Pirates on the local news this evening. Chief Meteorlogist, Natalie Walters, visited the ECC today to teach kindergarten students about weather safety and the science behind it. You can see our students on ABC 22 at 6:00pm or FOX 45 at 6:30pm (there were two separate groups, one video will be featured on each). We are thankful for the support of our local news station!

Preschool students made new friends this morning when students from the Elementary School visited the ECC. The older students helped with some coloring projects, then it was off to the playground to enjoy some fun time together.

Instead of asking questions, these staff members answered questions when they got together for Trivia Night. Speech Pathologist Rachel Monnin hosted the event for staff to spend an evening relaxing and celebrating the end (almost!) of the school year. The rumor is that some of the staff get really competitive when trivia points are involved! Now it's back to asking questions in the final days of school!

A huge thank you to Officer Osburn from the West Carrollton Police Department for visiting Miss Reichert’s 1st-grade classroom on Tuesday. Since it is National Police Week, it was the perfect time for our students to hear about what inspired her to serve our community and get a "behind-the-scenes" look at the tools police officers use every day. From hands-on activities with some cool tools and receiving our very own police badges, to exploring the inside of a real police cruiser, it was an unforgettable day of learning. We are so grateful for the work Officer Osburn and all officers do to keep us safe. We might just have some future officers in the making!
