Yesterday was the 2027 Miss New Bedford and Miss New Bedford's Teen competitions and Averi and Sofia were very happy to be there! Averi did have to run out to work before the show was over but Sofia was able to stay and enjoy the fantastic production. We send big congratulations to Miss New Bedford 2027, Avery Barboza and Miss New Bedford's Teen 2027, Lee'yah Nunes Wynn!

Our Jr. Miss Apple Peach, Sofia, was so happy to be invited to be part of the "Courtney Strong" fundraiser. This was so much more than just a fundraiser; so many people that love and care for Courtney came together to raise funds to help her get to Germany for an experimental cancer treatment. What an amazing and powerful night at Deep Pond Farm and Stables!

Averi and Sofia loved being part of Acushnet Youth Soccer Association's Movie Night and being able to meet so many local children and families! Thank you to the AYSA for creating these family-friend events and for always being so welcome to our titleholders!

Averi, Miss Apple Peach, and Sofia, Jr. Miss Apple Peach, both enjoyed spending time at this year's Apple Peach Festival! Despite the weather forcing the parade cancellation and putting a bit of a damper on Sunday's festivities, the girls had a great time and enjoyed spending some time both days at the Acushnet Lions Club's booth!

What a great time Averi and Sofia had at St. Francis Xavier's Touch-A-Truck event! It was the perfect first volunteer event together where they were able to meet so many families.

In 2015, Kelsey Pereira held the title of Miss Apple Peach. Now, eleven years later, her sister, Averi, holds the Miss Apple Peach title! Such a special way to make history - we have never had two sisters share the same title before!
