1- New Kraken Orientation - 7/27/23 7:30am - 1:30pm
- Help lead new krakens around and help them familiarize themselves with their new school! Build relationships and help our new Krakens feel welcome to KTech!

2- Building of desks - 7/19/23 10:00am - 12:00-ish
- Help build some desks for classrooms

3 - Clean out lockers - 7/20/23 10:00am - 12:00
- Help clean out lockers and prepare them for this school year

Amazing job LED robotics! Way to represent Ktech!!! Wendell Krinn Technical High School

LED Robotics from Wendell Krinn Technical High School made it to the playoff round this morning at the First Championship in Houston. They were eliminated after their third match. Congratulations on an amazing season. Light it up!

Huge shoutout to Susan Miller, the Forensic Services Supervisor, and some of her team for providing such a great experience for our Biomed students! We got to meet multiple members of the team and learn about their specialties - forensic diving, using drones to map scenes/search, lifting/processing latent prints, and anthropology. To top it off, Sue talked about her role as a K9 handler and brought out the famous Diesel, the human remains K9. We were even able to see (a demo) of him in action!

In MI, students transformed bacteria with a plasmid, to express GFP! Today they isolated the protein and next week they will purify and confirm the protein! I only got pics of 5th, I will try to get some of 7th next week! Wendell Krinn Technical High School

Over the past couple weeks, BI students worked with the Amgen biotech experience to transform a bacteria to produce RFP—a pink protein that glows under UV light. Wendell Krinn Technical High School
