This Week’s Senior of the Week is Norvell Brandon!
Interviewer: If you could play any other position for one drive, what position would it be?
Vell: I'd love to play quarterback.
Interviewer: Pick one: game-winning touchdown or game-ending defensive drive?
Vell: Game-winning defensive drive. I like the hype of that right there. It was like super crazy, and then like, I know I got the whole student section in there, just looking at me happy that we shut them down and they weren't able to do what they thought they would be able to accomplish.
Interviewer: How do you describe your playing style in three words?
Vell: Fast, shifty, and wanting it bad. Like, I want to go out there and put on for my team, help my team be better and stronger.
Interviewer: What is your pregame meal, song, or preparation?
Vell: My pregame song probably would be "No Smoke" by NBA YoungBoy. It just gets me in my zone.
Interviewer: When the younger players look at your jersey number in the years to come, what legacy you are leaving behind?
Vell: I hope I leave behind a legacy that number two was actually one of the players out there who never gave up, even when we were losing, he still tried to fight and make sure everybody did everything we could do to succeed.
Interviewer: What does it mean to be a Grizzly to you?
Vell: To be someone who who's always there for each other and everyone else, and an outgoing person who's not just stuck up to default or themselves - Someone who's a foot-forward person everyone can like and just enjoy.
