📚 Back-to-School IEP & 504 Check-In!

As the school year gets underway, this is a great time to check in on your student’s IEP or 504 Plan. 💙

✅ Review goals, accommodations, services, and supports
✅ Connect with your student’s IEP or 504 team
✅ Ask questions if something isn’t clear
✅ Make sure supports are being implemented as planned

Remember—you don’t have to wait until the annual review to reach out to your student’s team. If concerns arise or your student’s needs change, parents can request a meeting to discuss their IEP or 504 Plan.

A huge thank you to John Newbery Elementary and the PTA for such a warm welcome! 💙

We loved meeting families, sharing more about the Wenatchee Special Education PTSA, and seeing all the amazing pictures kids drew for us on Post-it notes. Back when I was growing up, that was basically how we “posted” things! 😂📝

We’re excited to keep building a community that moves beyond inclusion and toward true belonging—where every student and every family feels seen, valued, supported, and connected.

We had a great time at the WSD Community Fair at Wenatchee High School! 🎉📚✨

It was wonderful connecting with nearly 700 Wenatchee School District staff members and other educational organizations as we kicked off the 2026–27 school year. 🤝🍎 We had a fantastic turnout—and even completely ran out of flyers! 🙌🎊

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and connected with us. 💙 We’re excited for the partnerships ahead! 🌟

Learn practical, evidence-based strategies to better understand and support individuals with autism who may display self-injurious behaviors. 🎉 Exciting news! The Wenatchee Valley Special Education PTSA has received our first grant!

We were awarded a $2,000 Digital Access Microgrant through NCW Tech Alliance, generously funded by Thriving Together NCW. 💙

We look forward to partnering with Wenatchee schools to help provide communication technology/devices and training for students, families, and staff—making a difference one student and one family at a time. If you know a student or family who is currently needing help with communication devices, please contact us!
