Hi all, I am putting a hold on booking any events for a few months. Between sports every weekend, my kiddos birthday, and later our wedding, I just dont have the bandwidth to do any events for a few months. I'll be open to booking again starting in November. Im really appreciating all the support you guys have given me and so happy for the events we've done so far, including a birthday party we just did this past weekend.

Sad day in our house. My asian forest scorpion is found to have passed. Im not sure what her age or overall health was from the store I got her from so its entirely possible she was at the end of her life. It's a shame, but I plan to preserve her and still admire her and show her off as education. She may just be an insect to most people but she was a part of the crazy creepy crawly family we have.

This was an incredible find! I have a colony of hellaria isopods which are notorious for being difficult to get a colony really going. Well today when doing maintenance I noticed a few babies! I heard some stories of people struggling to get them to breed for over a year so to have these little ones appear was amazing.

The really cool thing about hellaria isopods is they are one of the largest terrestrial isopod species. They are very reclusive and always rolled up in a ball, ive never seen any of mine unroll and move about for me. So to these little guys is simply amazing to me

A few days ago we had a hermit crab rehomed/rescued to us. The last few days have been spent prepping a new setup. It's not complete, but its a good start. Next step will be getting some more things to fill the enclosure and also get him some friends, since they are very social critters. They have very specific needs and not all like the "easy care" setups you find at the beach. Please don't support sellers that keep hermit crabs in wired cages and painted shells. These guys have the potential of living up to 40 years or more if taken care of really well!

This was something we had planned on getting in the future because our kiddo has been begging for hermit crabs for awhile now, so when a chance to rehome this one popped up we agreed and set to researching. Our kiddo has decided his name is going to be Spongebob and plans to name the next crabs we get as Patrick and Sandy.

Today my newest critter arrived. It's a Chocolate Desert Millipede!! These are one of the largest millipedes found in the US coming from the south west region. I'm expecting this little guy to grow close to 7 or 8 inches in length, and its only about half way there. These guys are a lot of fun to really explore how insects move since they are slow movers even with their many legs. I can't wait to show him off to others. Welcoming all name suggestions!

Welcome aboard our newest crew! Morgan, Teach, Avery, and Lafitte. Today arrived Golfodulcean dart frogs (Phyllobates vittatus). We named them after some very famous pirates.

Dart frogs are also known as poison arrow/dart frogs. They become poisonous because of natural bacteria and minerals they are exposed to in the wild, but in captivity they are not introduced to these factors so they are not poisonous compared to their wild counterparts.
