Our Wildcats are gearing up for FAST and STAR testing! 🐾📚 Please review the testing schedule and help your child be prepared to do their best and ROCK the test!

⭐ Attendance matters! Students with perfect attendance from **August 27–September 18** will be entered into a raffle for a visit to the West Wildcat Book Vending Machine! 📚🎟️

Remember: Perfect attendance means no tardies or early releases. Students must be at school from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM to qualify.

Skate night was a HUGE success! 🛼💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to Astro Skate last night to support our WES Safety Patrols! Together, we raised over $800 to help support our patrols and their activities. 🐾🤍

Please remember: Curriculum Night is for general classroom information, not individual conferences. We also ask that children and siblings remain at home.

We had a fantastic turnout at our Back to School & Volunteers Breakfast! A huge thank you to all of our Wildcat families who joined us to learn more about volunteer opportunities, our PTO, and ways to get involved at Wellington Elementary.
We applaud our parents for taking the time to learn how they can be active partners in their children’s education. Your involvement and support make our school community stronger!

🎉 FIRST FRIDAY FEELING 💙🐾

Yesterday was a BIG milestone for our kindergarten Wildcats! It was INDEPENDENCE DAY! They bravely walked to class on their own and came together for their first full day as a kindergarten crew!

Of course we had to check in on our amazing Kindergarten teachers before AND after the big day. They rocked it just as much as our Wildcats did! 🎸🤘

Now we are celebrating the first Friday of the first week of school! So many amazing memories ahead!

Way to go Wildcats! 👏 We can’t wait to see you on Monday! 🐾💙

The group of parents and teachers at WES support initiatives for the education of our children are recognized as the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Initiatives include fundraising, connecting with business partners, and volunteering at numerous events including book fairs, school dances, and holiday shop.
