ACTING CLASSES
SNS is excited to offer 2 new weekly Acting Classes for High School and Middle School students starting in March:

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (grades 9-12): THE ACTORS CRAFT
Join SNS for this intensive class focusing on studying the craft of Acting. Explore the process of creating a character within partnered scene work. Discover your strengths as an actor, develop your skills, and learn how to use them effectively to create a meaningful and truthful performance onstage.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS (grades 6-8): ACTING THE SCENE
What happens between actors when they share the stage in a scene? Students will gain an introduction to creating an authentic and vibrant character that is living in the world of the play and reacting to the people and circumstances surrounding them.

A huge THANK YOU to the great folks over at OFC Creations for hosting SNS' first Performing Arts College Seminar last Saturday! It was definitely a valuable and eye-opening experience for both students and parents!

If you're a High School student interested in studying Theatre, Music, Film/TV, or Dance in college, then you (and your parents or guardian) don't want to miss this event!

Two big announcements about our upcoming COLLEGE BOOTCAMP running next week, August 9th-12th.

First- SNS is excited to announce that hot off of their stellar performances in OFC's 'A Chorus Line' Hector Manuel (Ritchie) and Maggie Nagar (Bebe) will be teaming up to teach our MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE INTENSIVE on Tuesday August 10 from 9am-1pm. Join these awesome dancer/choreographers to explore the choreography of the iconic musical 'A Chorus Line', and the new classic 'In the Heights'! And secondy...we're happy to announce that we're opening up the COLLEGE BOOTCAMP to high school JUNIORS and SENIORS. It's been a great 1st month of activity for Sandy Nagar Studio. On Saturday, we held the 3rd and final workshop in our ACTING MASTERCLASS SERIES SUMMER '21. The IMPROVISATION LAB was so much fun. These kids came into something with preconceived notions of what Improv is (and the fears to go along with them! LOL!) What they left with was a new understanding, and a newfound confidence in what they are capable of! Thank you Matt Roy for leading us in a wonderful workshop!
