All Hamilton County ISU Alumni and friends/family are invited to gather for an evening of celebration & connection. The 2026 Service Key Award🗝 will be presented, and funds will be raised to support future ISU students with scholarships❤💛. This past Spring 💰16,000 was awarded to 1️⃣6️⃣ local students attending ISU this Fall.

‼️The deadline to RSVP is Sunday, August 30

🌪The Twisted Sisters ended the Big 12 Conference with a 10-8 record, notable top performances from Audi, & a trip to the big NCAA tourney.

❤️The men's basketball team wrapped up the season with an overall 29-8 record (3rd in the Big 12). Even scored a trip to the Sweet 16, with Tamin Lipsey as a dominant force on the courts.

The Iowa State University (ISU) Alumni Club of Hamilton County annually offers scholarship awards to high school seniors who live in or attend school in Hamilton County. In addition, individuals that graduated from a school in Hamilton County that are currently attending Iowa State University or plan to transfer into the University. Recipients are selected based on a submission of application, financial need, academic achievement, and an interview process. The amount awarded each year is entirely supported by the financial generosity of Hamilton County alumni members, as well as the friends and fans of ISU. The application deadline is set for March 31st annually. An interview process takes place in the Spring for those that meet the application requirements. The scholarship amount awarded to each individual varies, and split equally between their Fall and Spring semesters.

This year the scholarship committee awarded monies to 16 individuals. 7 of those cyclones were recognized at the Hamilton County Cardinal & Gold Dinner 2025 on Sunday 9/7.

We're exCYted that our local club could help support their journey and that they could be present to share a bit about their cyclone experience.

The 2025 Scholarship Recipients are Cody Seiser, Briar Klaver, Amanda Ostrem, Alley Odland, Abby Gallentine, Olivia Gallentine, Austin Babcock, Riley Walker, Katie Casady, Jack Mason, Jagger Ferrie, Caitlin Bare, Jayce Abens, Emma Lewis, Beau Klaver, & Thad Zimmerman.

The Hamilton County Service Key Award has been a tradition for decades. The Award is presented to an Iowa State University Alumnus { Iowa State University Alumni Association} who resides in Hamilton County and who has demonstrated outstanding community service which honors Iowa State University and it's alumni. One award is given each year at our Cardinal & Gold Dinner. The award embodies loyalty, pride, & tradition. The recipient receives a certificate and a Service Award Pin along with the recognition.

FAQ # 2️⃣what to wear🤔?

Whether you’re an Alumni living in , new to the area, just visiting, been in the area for years, or just a fan... we encourage you RSVP {by 9/1 at MIDNIGHt} for the Hamilton County Cardinal & Gold Dinner 2025. It's a chance to connect with other Iowa Staters & celebrate cyclone pride❤💛.

As for attire..."cyclone casual". Bust out your cardinal❤& gold💛, of course! Throw on your favorite t-shirt👕 & jeans👖, polo & slacks, an item from your tailgate chic wardrobe, or wear another comfy option. We'd just love to have you join us for food, fun, & cyclone connections!
