ARK Animal Encounters Hands-on animal encounters and presentations in Michigan and surrounding states, USA. Or how beautiful the feathers were on the macaw.

ARK Animal Encounters is a company providing educational, hands-on animal encounters and presentations for classrooms, birthday parties, private and corporate events, and more! When owner, Rebecca, was 12 years old her school was visited by a similar organization. She has never forgotten the way the giant toad's cold belly squished between her fingers when it was placed in her hands. Or the way the snakes muscles rippled just beneath its skin when she touched it. Since that day, Rebecca has dreamed of owning her own outreach; allowing her to impart lasting memories like hers to children and adults alike! Rebecca has been working with animals all of her life. She has worked for Humane Societies, Zoos, Animal Shelters, and Wild Animal Parks. Her volunteer experience spans animal rehabilitation centers and animal sanctuaries, as well as education facilities. She has acquired a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology with an emphasis on conservation, and has also secured a triple Associate's of Science degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, Animal Behavior Management, and Wildlife Education. Her presentation style blends fun and entertainment to keep her audience engaged in learning. Call or email ARK to book your hands-on animal encounter today!

This frog is a happy guy. At least he croaks earlier than the first night!

Our new frog, Neptune, is definitely a boy. It's 5:37 am and he just woke me out of a dead sleep with his croaking 😅

Took me a few seconds to realize what the sound was echoing up from the basement. Loudest guy ever!

I was down setting up my new frog and the tegu went to the perch for letting him out.

Gomez has wanted out exactly ONE time for 20 seconds, months ago.

I put on gloves and opened the door. He climbed out. It's the first time he's let me lift him up and touch him. You can see the look of shock on my face in the picture 😂

After my presentation I went to the pet store for crickets. I always look at the animals. I saw a sale tag and looked closer. It was a tree frog.

The employee said he's been there forever and seemed depressed.

Long story short he joined the ARK 😂 His name is Poseidon.

Poor Confetti is at the vet again. That one front tooth keeps overgrowing and the other front tooth hasn't grown back 😞

She's lost a little weight unfortunately (eating is harder with a missing front tooth). We're keeping a close eye on her because she is just the sweetest chinchilla in the world ❤️

The animals love sweet corn season. They love eating the corn husks.
