You are invited to our concert! Several SWOSU band alumni play in this band: Joel Haas, Susan Haas, Jessica Haas Peercy, LaVonna Farmer Funkhouser, Jeramy Haas, Dawn Haas, Kim Butler Herring, and others …

If you know it’s only rock and roll, but you like it, then you’ll enjoy the concert at 8 pm on Thursday, June 22, at the Fuqua Park gazebo presented by the Chisholm Trail Municipal Band. The concert is free, but please bring lawn chairs for seating.

Whether you think rock is best defined by Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, Queen, or even some old fashioned “doo wop” and “Rock Around the Clock,” we have you covered. Let’s not forget the hits of the 80’s!

The band is under the direction of Joel Haas, co-director of Texoma Home School Bands, and is comprised of musicians from across southwest Oklahoma. Our members include school students, directors, professional musicians, college students, and local citizens.

From Bill Chambers: My brother Bob's Memorial Services now are finalized for 2:00 PM on Saturday, 6/24/2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Weatherford, OK (817 North 7th Street, Weatherford, OK 73096); graveside Burial service at the El Reno Cemetery will be immediately following.
