Nominations are now underway for the Back-to-School Classroom Makeover Giveaway, and one deserving local teacher will receive an exciting classroom transformation to help kick off the new school year.

If you know a teacher who goes above and beyond for their students, now is the time to nominate them. Participating local businesses are Blue Sky Bank, Pecina's Mexican Cafe, McDonald's of Weatherford, Skin Zen, El Patio Mexican Grill & Cantina, Weatherford Public Library, Nabors Shoe Center and Next Door Nabors, More Than Medicine, and 66 Gas & Auto Service.

We are VERY excited to share that MWS LLC and Weatherford Daily News are once again sponsoring our monthly Teacher & Staff shoutouts for the 2026/2027 school year! 🎉

✨ Every month we choose 1 staff member at each school campus that was nominated by a fellow staff person or parent to spotlight something special they did or just for being their awesome self! Those winners will receive $100 cash and be featured in the newspaper.

✨Anyone can submit shoutouts by messaging our main page through messenger or fill out a form at any school site during regular school hours!

❤️ As always we are super thankful for WDN and MWS for their continued support for our organization but the support they provide for our awesome school district! 🦅
