We are thrilled to share some incredible news regarding the financial health and stewardship of Brock ISD! Thanks to careful planning, sound management, and the support of our amazing community, we are celebrating three major financial achievements:

🌟 1. $2.7 Million Added to the General Fund Balance:

Through diligent fiscal responsibility, Brock ISD has officially added $2.7 million to our general fund balance! This marks an important milestone in Brock ISD’s financial recovery and fully restores the District’s General Fund balance following focused financial planning and disciplined spending. A strong fund balance acts as our district's savings account—ensuring long-term stability, protecting us against unforeseen expenses, and allowing us to continue investing directly in our students and staff.

⭐️ 2. Texas Comptroller Transparency Star for Debt Obligations:

We are honored to be awarded a Transparency Star for Debt Obligations from Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock! This state-level recognition highlights Brock ISD’s commitment to openness, accountable governance, and providing taxpayers with clear, accessible financial information.

🅰️ 3. Preliminary FIRST Rating: A / 94 – "Superior Achievement":

Brock ISD has received a preliminary rating of A (Superior Achievement) with a score of 94/100 on the 2025–2026 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST)! This rating evaluates the quality of financial management decisions in Texas public schools, proving that our dollars are being managed with maximum efficiency.

💡 We listened! Based on valuable parent feedback from previous years, Brock ISD has split Meet the Teacher into two separate nights. We hope this change helps alleviate traffic, makes campus visits smoother, and gives families with students in multiple grade levels plenty of time to visit each school without rushing! 💙💛

We're excited to welcome all of our new Brock families to the New Family Welcome Dinner tonight at the high school from 5:30–7:00 PM!

As you arrive, you'll notice that our juniors and seniors have been hard at work creating their parking spots. Many spaces are marked with cones, paint cans, tape, or may have fresh paint.

Please help us preserve their hard work by avoiding any parking spaces that appear to be newly painted or are marked off.

**Students:** As you are working this evening and before you leave, please be sure to clean up the area around your parking spot. Ensure all paint cans, tape, cones, and any other materials are within your parking spot and trash is cleaned up so our new families can safely enjoy the event.

We can't wait to meet everyone and officially welcome you to the Brock family! 💙🦅

Dear Brock High School Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for taking the time to read our previous emails and respond to our requests regarding student registration. We appreciate your help as we prepare for the upcoming school year. We want to clarify a few items about the registration process:

** If the registration tab has disappeared from your Skyward account, your student's registration has been completed. You should now see a "Fee" tab where you can pay the Chromebook fee.

** If the registration button says "Submitted" or "Pending," your registration has been received. Please be patient as our front office staff works diligently to import registrations into Skyward.

** If the registration button says "Started" or is still available for you to select, your student's registration is not complete. Please log in and finish the registration as soon as possible.

** If your student will not be returning to Brock High School this year, please email Mrs. Williams at [email protected] so we can update our records.

Once all submitted registrations have been processed, we will begin contacting families whose students have not yet completed registration. If you have not received a phone call from us, you should be all set!
