SWOSU Opera Workshop

Still glowing from a beautiful evening of music with so many of our SWOSU Voice students onstage! ✨🎶

Last night, our singers traded lessons, coachings, and rehearsal rooms for the concert stage as members of Chamber Choir and Southwestern Singers, and we couldn’t be prouder!

From the singers on the risers to the incredible collaborators making music alongside them, it was a wonderful night of music-making.

We love getting to watch our singers do what they do best! 💙🐾

Our 🌟SWOSU singers🌟 are taking the stage tomorrow night!

We spend a lot of time celebrating the individual voices that make up the SWOSU Voice Area, but tomorrow night we get to hear those voices come together for More Piano, Please!, the first SWOSU Choral Concert of the year! 🎶🎹

Joining Director of Choral Studies, Dr. Daniel Farris, will be Graduate Assistant Christine Wagner, who will take the podium to conduct her selection, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The program will also feature pianists Dr. Sophie Hung and Yun-Ting Tsai, along with SWOSU faculty guest artists Prof. Carey Morrow on theorbo and dramatic soprano, Dr. Cassie Glaeser.🎵
