WCHS students are wasting no time getting into the swing of things!
Mrs. Majdi’s classes kicked off the year with a team-building challenge: build the tallest standing tower using only paper and tape. With so much collaboration built into her classes, it was a fun way to get students communicating, problem-solving, and working together from the start.
Down the hall, Mrs. Crosby’s Biology students jumped right into learning with Introduction to Biology lab stations.

ParentSquare is one of the main ways WCHS will keep families informed throughout the school year. We have already used ParentSquare to share important schoolwide information, including Picture Day and Chromebook checkout. Throughout the year, we will also use it to share parent meeting dates, upcoming events, important deadlines, and more.
Teachers will also use ParentSquare to communicate with families about quizzes, tests, assignments, student progress, and additional support when needed.

WCHS families, we had a wonderful first day and were so excited to welcome our students back!
Please check with your child for a few important items coming home:
• Census Verification directions: This required annual update helps us make sure your contact information and approved pickup list are correct. For assistance, please stop by WCHS and ask for Mrs. Denney.
• Bright green nurse form: Please complete and return this form as soon as possible. The school nurse cannot provide non-emergency care until it has been returned.
• Class syllabi: Many teachers will send home a syllabus for you and your child to review and sign.
Thank you for helping us get the school year off to a great start! Please reach out to your child’s teachers through ParentSquare or email with any questions. We look forward to a wonderful year together!
