Chi Gamma Omega Chapter is continuing our AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope Duffle Bag Drive, and we need our community’s help.

A new duffle bag may seem simple, but for a child or teen in foster care, it can mean having something of their own to carry clothing, personal items, and a little bit of comfort from one place to the next.

💗💚 A BAG CAN CARRY MORE THAN BELONGINGS—IT CAN CARRY HOPE. 💚💗

Chi Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® invites our community to support AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope by donating NEW duffle bags for children and teens in foster care.

For many young people in foster care, moving from one home to another can mean carrying their belongings in whatever is available. We want to help provide something that is theirs—a new bag for their belongings and a reminder that their community sees them, supports them, and cares. 💕

👜 We are collecting NEW duffle bags in sizes appropriate for children and teens.

But in the middle of unpacking boxes, decorating rooms, and settling into your new home, there’s one more item to add to your to-do list:

And this is exactly why we’re checking on our voting circles. Sometimes a simple conversation with a friend can be the reminder someone needs.
