It’s time to officially join the team! Villa Marie Special Olympics is now enrolling athletes and peer partners for our upcoming sports seasons.

We are excited to offer:

🏀 Basketball
🎳 Bowling
📣 Cheer
🏃 Track & Field — season begins this spring!

Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, please complete the official team sign-up and uniform order so we can finalize rosters, sizes, and team communication.

📣 LAST CALL to join the Villa Marie Special Olympics interest list!

We are preparing for an exciting year of Special Olympics sports, including basketball, track, bowling, bocce, co****le and our brand-new cheer team! Information for each sport will be sent to interested families as the season gets closer.

📣 Cheer is up first!
Our Cheer Uniform Fit Check and Meet & Greet will be held:

We are also looking for Peer Partners—students ages 8–18 without intellectual or developmental disabilities who would like to participate alongside our athletes, build friendships and help create a truly inclusive team experience!

We’re honored to be featured in this month’s Parish Neighbors of South Lincoln! 💙💛

A heartfelt thank you to Parish Neighbors for sharing Villa Marie’s vision of expanding Special Olympics opportunities across the Diocese of Lincoln.

We believe every athlete deserves a chance to compete, belong, and be celebrated. As we grow our Unified Special Olympics program, we’re inviting the entire community to join us!

🏅 We’re looking for:
💙 Athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities
🤝 Peer Partners, students ages 8+ without disabilities
📣 Coaches, ages 18+
🙌 Volunteers, ages 13+

Whether you’re from a Catholic school, public school, homeschool, or anywhere else — you are welcome! Together, we’re building friendships, confidence, leadership, and inclusion through sports.
