The Blackshirt Players are inviting all students to our crew interest meeting on Thursday, September 17th, at 2:30 PM in room 210.

Whether you love designing costumes, doing amazing hair and makeup looks, making props, or managing lights, sound, and stage, there’s a place for you. Especially since we have to produce 3 short plays! This will take some hard work.

We are so excited to kick off this season strong with a mixture of South and North drama students. We can’t believe the amazing outcome we had, 69 people auditioned. That’s amazing!!!! Thank you to all who had courage and auditioned for the blackshirt players, it was amazing seeing all the wonderfull talent on stage

It’s been while! Time to kick off the 2026-2027 school year at Waukesha South with our fall play one acts!,

We are so happy to announce that this year we will be doing 3 short plays (30-40 minutes each) as our fall play! Auditions are:
September 8th, 2026, Tuesday @3:30pm-5:30pm
September 9th, 2026, Wednesday 5pm-7pm
September 10th, 2026, Thursday @3:30pm-5:30pm

An even more exciting news, is that we are opening our doors for the Northstar Players to come and audition with the Blackshirt Players! We can’t wait to see new faces from Waukesha North and the amazing talent we get to see from them at auditions.

If you are a student currently enrolled in Waukesha South and are interested on learning more about how to get involve (tech or acting) our department, classes, information about the season, our drama board, etc. Come to the Open House 4:30pm-6:30pm at Waukesha South and all those questions will be answered. We will welcome you all with open arms!

❤️‍🩹Ky Kantin- (Marcellus) 🗡️
This is Ky’s 6th show with the blackshirt players and Ky is really excited to be playing Marcellus. Ky has previously played The Witch in Big Fish, Atalanta and Paris in the Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and Kaliope/Kelly in She
Kills Monsters.

🍷- Maximo Arcilla - (King Claudius) 👑
Max is a Senior at Waukesha South and is very excited for their first lead role as King Claudius. Previously they played Dr. Bennett in Big Fish and Prometheus in GMO. Outside of theatre they are a member and the principal cellist of the Waukesha South High School Symphonic Orchestra.

👻- Zachery S. Rein - (The Ghost) (Props Head)☠️
Zachery is a Junior and they love acting! Things they do when they’re not occupied are listening to music and hanging out with friends or family. He has been in 6 productions in their life including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mean Girls, She Kills Monsters, Greek Mythology, and Big Fish. They cannot wait for you to witness the spectacle that is Hamlet.

▶️- Biel Parés - (Player King/Ensemble)🏴‍☠️
Biel is a Junior and an exchange student from Barcelona. He loves theatre, music, and arts in general, after playing Hector in the Fall Play and being a Featured Dancer in Big Fish The Musical, he is now back on stage as the Player King. He has performed many plays and musicals in his country, combining this with his other hobbies of radio, politics, and cooking.

It’s been a while! Why not post some Hamlet videos that weren’t posted during hamlet to honor some cast members for the last spring show of the 2025-2026 Season!

Thank you to everyone who came to see Hamlet May 7th - 10th, we received news that some people like it a lot that they came more than 1 day! We are so happy to hear that and honored to have your support.
-
Nevertheless everyone will think I protest to much so does methinks, but here’s some cast members that signed in opening night and signed off closing night of hamlet. We hope you enjoyed these wonderful actors and their performances on the Waukesha South auditorium stage for one last time of the 2025-2026 drama season.
