A lot can be true at the same time.
There can be a smile.
A laugh.
The making of plans again.
Good days that are actually good.
And still, the missing is there.
A smile does not mean they are forgotten.
A laugh does not mean the ache is gone.
Living again does not mean loving them less.
Sometimes grief looks quieter because it has become part of how love is carried.
And that love still deserves to be seen.

Bereaved moms don’t need you to fix it.
You couldn’t, even if you wanted to.
But you can say their child’s name.
You can remember the dates.
You can text on the hard days.
You can send a text on a random day.
You can sit in the silence without rushing to fill it.
You can let her cry without making it awkward.
You can keep showing up after the rest of the world gets quiet.
Because grief doesn’t need to be solved.
It needs somewhere safe to land.
For the bereaved mom reading this — your child is not forgotten here.
For the supporter reading this — your steady presence matters more than you know.

The hardest part is not always missing them.
Sometimes it is feeling like the world only knows how to make room for your grief when it is quiet.
When it is soft.
When it is convenient.
When it does not interrupt the moment.
When it does not make anyone uncomfortable.
But BRAVE momma, your grief does not have to be smaller to be accepted. Ever.
You are not too much because you still miss them.
You are not stuck because their name still matters.
You are not going backward because some days still bring you to your knees.
You are a mother carrying love in a form the world does not always know how to honor.
And I hope you know this:
You are allowed to keep loving them out loud.
You are allowed to keep saying their name.
You are allowed to have joy and still ache.
You are allowed to keep living while still wishing they were here.
This is not you failing to move forward.
This is you learning how to carry a love that never left.
Save this or send this on to a mom who needs to be reminded that her grief does not have to disappear to prove she is living.

BRAVE momma, you didn’t ask to have to be this brave.
But here you are, carrying love forward one breath at a time.
