Watervliet High School’s Robotics Team, Pantron-X #9758 fought through so many adversities and hardships as they competed at the 2026 FIRST in Michigan (FiM) District Berrien Springs Event that was held March 21 - 22 at Berrien Springs High School. However, Pantron-X showed endurance, perseverance, and was the second alliance pick of Alliance 1. They had the honor of being partnered with Team #6002 ZooBotix, Team #4237 Lance-A-Bot, and Team #6588 Counter-torque, winning the finals. In addition, the team won the Quality Award for the way they chose to design their robot with the wiring on the bottom, covering it with Lexan to allow for additional build space, while protecting the electrical components of their robot, Robarticus. Pantron-X's record was 10-5-0 for this event and brought home their first "Blue Banner", medals, two trophies, and two plaques for their achievements.
The team is scheduled to compete at the FiM District Battle Creek Event on March 28 to March 29, 2026, in an effort to qualify for the State Championship.
