Powder and Wig

Two hobbits, a few mustaches, and a gratuitous number of pictures later, we knew who was on first (last): our 2026 spring showcase! (Better known as the first-ever Powder and Wig not-just-Monologues Night.)
Thank you to everyone for their hard work and talent this year, truly it hath shone thru.
A special thank you to Mary Low for hosting us this time around and lots of love for our lovely audience.
Good luck on your finals, everyone! We will see you in the next post (or in the fall (or to our beautiful seniors, congrats grads—we hope you won’t be a stranger because you’ll always be a wiggle 🤍)).

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold last week to see our One-Act comebacks!! And what a comeback it was, with huge shoutouts to our writer-directors Emerson Riter and Alice Zimmer, along with our casts of Helicon and Incidental Evils, our lovely tech crew, and a special thank you to everyone at Gordon and facilities who helped make a space for it all to be possible. Ever wanted to direct your own play? Act in one? Do tech for one? Move a couch for one? Well now is your chance! As per our email:

It’s about that time! We are open for submissions for our spring semester plays. If you are interested in directing, please fill out the attached submission form and email it to the Board by 11:59 pm on February 6th. Due to time constraints, late submissions will not be considered, so make sure you get those in ASAP! Please fill out the entire form to the best of your ability. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! We are open to any ideas from all members of the club, so please share them with us!
