Meet Jayce Jonason, a first-year ag business student from Lake Area Technical College Agriculture!

Jayce is completing his first internship with us this spring out of our Garden City agronomy location. He has been helping with treating & delivering seed to Agwrx customers.

This scholarship is due March 31st!

We have partnered again with Lake Area Tech to offer a $14,000 scholarship for new, first-year students pursuing a future in South Dakota's beef industry.

New, incoming students enrolled in the LATC Agriculture Livestock Management & Production Option can apply to receive $3,500 per semester (up to $14,000) towards their educational expenses, such as tuition, fees, books, laptop, and other required program items.

Today, AGR 261 – Livestock Marketing and Evaluation toured The Meathouse in Andover, SD. Students learned about the beef harvest process, meat processing, and the regulations involved in operating a processing facility.

They even got to sample snack sticks and ghost pepper pickled sausage! 🌶️
