Please join us for a screening and discussion of State Organs, a 2025 Oscar Contender for Best Documentary Feature and an eye-opening expose revealing a state sanctioned, billion-dollar transplant industry fueled by forced organ harvesting in China.

Produced by Peabody Award-winner Raymond Zhang with a score by Emmy Award-winning composer Daryl Bennett, the film follows two Chinese families in their 20-year-long search for their loved ones who have disappeared in police custody. Along the way, they uncover a harrowing government-run organ harvesting operation that has destroyed many thousands of lives.

With operatives of the CCP being arrested throughout the US, and the regime’s attempts to suppress Falun Gong throughout the world, this documentary is not only timely, but a vital educational film on a devastating and ongoing issue.

There will be a Q & A session after the film screening with expert panelists. Light refreshments will be served.

🩺 Jessica Russo, PsyD – Mental Health Adviser for Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH); clinical psychologist and faculty member; speaks on forced organ harvesting in China; DAFOH is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.

⚡️ William Huang – Former PhD candidate at TsingHua University; imprisoned and tortured in China for practicing Falun Gong; escaped to the U.S. in 2008; now a senior electrical engineer.

🖋️ Jan Jekielek – Journalist and host of the show American Thought Leaders. Jan has interviewed nearly a thousand thought leaders on camera, and specializes in long-form discussions challenging the grand narratives of our time.

You are warmly invited to join us for the screening of "Eternal Spring" on Friday, April 12th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at GWU University Student Center, 3rd floor, Amphitheater.

In March 2002, a state TV signal in China is hacked by members of the banned spiritual group Falun Gong. Their goal is to counter the government narrative about their practice.

In the aftermath, police raids sweep Changchun City, and comic book illustrator Daxiong, a Falun Gong practitioner, is forced to flee. He arrives in North America, blaming the hijacking for worsening a violent repression. But his views are challenged when he meets the lone surviving participant to have escaped China, now living in Seoul, South Korea.

Combining present-day footage with 3D animation inspired by comic book illustrator Daxiong’s (Justice League, Star Wars) art, Eternal Spring retraces the event on its 20th anniversary, and brings to life an unprecedented story of defiance.

Over the course of nine days, we will play one of Master Li Hongzhi’s nine lectures on Falun Dafa each day (up to two hours)—so you can experience how his classes were originally taught in China.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the higher principles behind the practice, beyond just health and wellness, and hopefully it can improve your life.

The lectures are with simultaneous English translation (no subtitles).
