🐾 Happy Whisker Wednesday from our wonky little prancy pants! 🐾
This photo is courtesy of , who snapped it post-aspiration while caring for the crew recently.
Vidya has trained Gus to stretch up to the counter for a treat after his aspiration. (He absolutely loves this!)
He used to require the little step-stool to reach the counter, but now he can streeeeeeetch all the way up from the floor. He is a very long (and super cute) boy!

Gussie: Mom! Mom! Hey, Mom! Come pick me up and cuddle. Mom! Moooooooooooom!!!!!!!
Dora: Ugh. Show a little self-respect, Gus. You’re a cat! You have to play a little hard to get.

🫣😹When you sleep in a little and the cats aren’t happy that they had to wait for breakfast.🫣😹
In reality, the cats have access to food all day/night and prefer snuggles over snackies.💗

🥔We all know that potatoes have eyes, but did you know that they have teef too?! 🥔
Ube continues to be his adorable roly-poly self. We’ve discovered that he’s actually quite nimble (albeit not graceful)! He has shown us that he can jump over gates, leap to counters in a single bound, and slip between your feet as you try to close his door. 😹
Ube is adoptable through . Reach out to me or them for more information.

🤗Please welcome our newest foster, Mr. Fyodor Strider FitzWilliam Darcy (AKA Fitz!) 😹😹😹 (Thank you all for the name suggestions- there were some very vehement likes and dislikes, so we’ve landed somewhere totally wild!)
Fitzy was trapped by in part of their heroic effort to help manage and care for DC’s large community cat population.
He was slated to be returned to the field after his neuter, but he had to be shaved down due to severe matting. Between his nakedness, the likelihood he’d get all matted up again, and his friendly nature (he walked up to during trapping), his rescuers decided to try to place him with a rescue. Thankfully, was happy to take him on, and we are beyond thrilled to foster him.
Fitz is an absolute gem of a cat. He is shy but trusting and he is loving and has an incredibly gentle nature. In just a few days, he’s learned that getting pets is great, cuddling is amazing, and getting regular meals is absolutely wonderful!
I absolutely adore him and can’t wait to find him the perfect home!
We are working on introducing him to Ube. He seems very open to making cat friends, but the potato comes on a little strong, so we’re taking things slowly.
Fitzy will be adoptable via soon!
