Welcome to the Official page of The McCourt Debate Society of the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
The McCourt Debate Society (MDS) is an organization within The McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. We are a group of graduate McCourt students who are striving to promote the the discourse of pressing public policy concerns that affect our world. We are open to all members of the Georgetown graduate community who wish to be members. However, we are more than open to any Hoya
who would like to attend our meetings and join into our discussions. We want to welcome all those who are interested to come participate in our society. There are no barriers to membership. Regardless of your previous debate experience, level of knowledge on our weekly topic, or field of study we hope you will join us to hone your debate, public speaking, and research skills.
