This year, RAD-AID Volunteer Zulfikarali Lalani, RDMS, RDCS, CSG, RVT, traveled to Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) and Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) in Jakarta and Bandung.

�Goals of the trip included to observe clinical and educational workflows, interact with residents and clinical staff, provide hands-on education, and identify opportunities for continued professional development and institutional collaboration.

RAD-AID thanks our wonderful partners in Indonesia for their long-standing collaboration and dedication to expanding radiology capacities.

🏥 Making an Impact in Appalachia

RAD-AID teams recently traveled to the Appalachia region to support patient care at the Health Wagon Clinic while providing hands-on learning opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

In partnership with Bellin College in Green Bay, Wisconsin, this collaboration advances two important goals in a single trip: supporting Bellin students through hands-on clinical education while expanding access to imaging services for underserved communities served by Health Wagon.

By combining education with service, we're strengthening the healthcare workforce and helping improve access to quality care where it's needed most.

Siemens Healthineers

A RAD-AID team recently traveled to Indonesia for capacity-building.
The team provided lectures and hands-on training to nuclear medicine professionals in Jakarta and Sumatra, as well as participated in International Workshop on Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technology, Theranostics, and Future Hybrid Imaging

In partnership with Siemens Healthineers (ASEAN), this collaboration advances Nuclear Medicine in Indonesia.

💙 Expanding Access to Care Through Partnership

RAD-AID is proud to partner with Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program to expand access to point-of-care ultrasound for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Through the generous support of Philips North America Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), BHCHP received handheld ultrasound devices that are helping providers deliver timely, high-quality care directly where it's needed most.

A special thank you to Mary Peters, whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in training BHCHP providers to confidently integrate point-of-care ultrasound into patient care. Your commitment is helping build sustainable capacity and improve healthcare access for one of our most vulnerable communities.

🌍 Strengthening Breast Imaging Services in Cabo Verde

RAD-AID volunteers recently traveled to Cabo Verde to provide hands-on training in ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, helping strengthen local capacity for the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.

Working side-by-side with local healthcare professionals, our volunteers delivered hands-on instruction to build sustainable skills and improve access to timely, high-quality breast care. Together, we're empowering local providers and expanding access to life-saving imaging services.
