UCSB Girl Up club advocates and fundraises for girls' education, health, and voice in Guatemala, India, Liberia, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Malawi.
Meetings - We have 1 hour meetings once a week! Please check back here in the Fall for our new meeting time! As an individual club, we participate in and put on events that focus on fundraising and or advocacy for girls' education, voice, and health in our six focus countries of Guatemala, India, Ethiopia, Liberia, Uganda, and Malawi. Yesterday UCSB Girl Up’s Marketing Coordinator had the opportunity to document the scene at the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C. following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Here’s is just a glimpse of what was occurring in the nations capitol on June 24th, 2022.
