Illuminate The Infinite

“You are concentrated on the isolated wave of your body and its finite life; thus you forget that infinite omnipresence of God. But when you realize that the life in all bodies, and in all manifestations in nature, is nothing but outbursts of God’s consciousness, then you are in His eternal presence.“

Time does not heal all wounds. Only Love can do that.

Yet, Time can allow a return to Love, as that is our natural state of Being.

Though as the Buddhist teaching says: the lotus cannot bloom without mud.

“WHAT IS COMPOST IN A HUMAN HEART? Our heart’s pains, grief, anger, hurt, loneliness, we often reject like waste, and don’t want to know about.

We often call these ‘negatives’, and pretend they’re not happening; we should be able to cope better, should be more ‘positive’. People fear if they give voice to such emotions, they might be overwhelmed, and not able to find their way back to happiness. It’s hard to see how painful feelings could produce new growth.

Compost is nature’s ecosystem way to recycle. Ecosystems include dark, light, beauty and s**t. As gardeners and permaculturists we embrace all that. How do we embrace our dark and light emotions? Not cut off our pain or joy, and treat them all as nutrients, to help us flourish?

We can take our emotions through a transformation process. Composting emotions is an inner process, in each of us; and we can help each other do this by how we relate to each other’s difficult feelings. The same approach applies equally to how we care for our own hearts, and how we care for others who are suffering.

What dies rots, and feeds new life. A compost heap or worm bin provides good conditions for rotten smelly stuff to decompose, with the help of worms and bugs, and transform efficiently into rich nutritious soil to feed the veggies.”

GOING TO GOD

I start most days with prayer & meditation, bowing at the alter of the Divine. In prayer I’m talking to God, my Infinite Beloved, and letting him* know what’s going on in my human experience. I rant & rave, I whinge & moan, and more often than not I cry. They are tears of gratitude and yearning simultaneously. “Thank you, more please, I love you.”

Then I sit in stillness listening for his reply. Sometimes its visions, sometimes its voices, sometimes its just a super strong felt sense somatic experience. He always answers me, just not always straight away and just not always in the way the mind might have imagined.

For example, when I asked about what I need to do to unblock my throat chakra more I was given a vision of me deep th*****ng c**k. My hubby was thrilled about that one, whist I was shaking my head thinking “Can’t I just go to another voice activation workshop? Surely the 12th one will do the trick...”

It amuses me because I say that I want to be God’s Pencil and then often I’m offered instructions on how to serve & part of me goes, “Oh no. Not that. Please don’t make me do that.”

Like recently, I was asking about what’s next for me work wise. I got given a topic and in the days and weeks that followed content started pouring through about it.

And yet I resisted. “I don’t wanna,” part of me protested petulantly. I held her lovingly and supported her in processing her fears around it. Meanwhile Wisdom knew it was only a matter of time before I had integrated sufficiently that I was ready to claim it.

Because ultimately, I do what I’m guided to do. Again & again I’ve been shown that this is the path to a Life far beyond my wildest dreams. Richer in every possible way.

BOUNDLESS BLISS

“Divine Mother, may our hearts chant only thy name regardless of the words our tongues may say.”

This was one of the prayers uttered in satsang (Sanskrit for Truth-telling gathering) today.

As I’m reflecting on the service I am struck by what I’m so often struck by:

“Consciousness adorns countless costumes.” (a quote from enLIGHTen UP.)

When speaking with one of the monastics after the service she reminded us that we mustn’t be content with a bit of bliss. Go deeper and deeper still into our meditation. Remember that bliss can be boundless when our body vessel is trained to hold the frequency of the Infinite.

Since the Convocation I have noticed this too. There simply aren’t words for the type of ecstatic communion with God that is possible in deep meditation.

And in the words of one of my coaches “you should never not be meditating.”

Yet to obtain this requires both discipline & devotion. We need discipline to get through the challenging parts (it’s always darkest before the break of dawn) and devotion to persevere with love in our hearts.

And the mental maturity to hold the paradox that there’s no where to go, alongside walking “the path” Home to the Truth of who we are.

We are immortal souls, children of the Divine Spirit. Anything we choose to subscribe to beyond that is for entertainment’s sake. Cuz we love a good dress up party, don’t we?

AN INVITATION TO BE SUPPORTED

I am currently reveling in how supported I am.

First and foremost by Life - the current of cosmic Consciousness that animates all beings everywhere, uniting us all as one.
Secondly by my family, both inherited by birth and selected through discernment.
I have parents that would give anything they have to support me, even without me asking.
My siblings are similar - they love me to the best of their ability, with all they have available.

I have a hubby who would travel to the moon & back in service of my soul.
Besties all around the globe that consistently show & tell me how much they cherish me.
I have at least one coach in my corner at all times, supporting me to shine brighter in whatever context I'm currently polishing up.
I've got clients that light me up like whoa as well as compliment me through both renewals & referrals.

This morning I had a call with a company to support me with my upcoming book launch.
And just now I signed up with a new personal trainer to support me in staying fit & flexible + toned & trim whilst I'm still in this season of homelessness, aka rooting more deeply into Self.
Sometimes I need to pinch myself because I get awe-struck of the blessings that have reigned upon me.

Both in LA and in Sydney my awareness has been drawn to the people that are sleeping on the streets.
My heart aches with compassion and so I do what I always do when my heart hurts: I pray about it.
"Beloved God, please bring the light of your love into their hearts and lives so they may feel your warm and nourishing presence unconditionally."
I pray that for all of us, actually.

Friends that have been around for a while know that serving the homeless has been a cause close to my heart since my high school days.
My mom modeled for me well not to take my privilege for granted & to always credit the true source of all abundance: the Creator of all Life.
And to remember that to those who have been provided much have a duty to serve others.
In the words of Spiderman: "With great power comes great responsibility."

We all have great power. But some of us have yet to actualize this awareness across all dimensions.
And rather than being ashamed of that, it can be a cause for celebration.
Because it's one of the ways we allow ourselves to receive the support of those around us.
I am accepting greater responsibility in sparking others into actualization.
