Calling all rising Seniors in the District! DC Boys and Girls State 2026 Cohort applications are now open! This is an incredible opportunity to develop leadership skills, engage in hands-on civic learning, and connect with motivated peers from across the city in "a week that shapes a lifetime."

The program will take place June 27 - July 2. Apply today at dcboysstate.com by May 15th to have your application considered. Email [email protected] with any questions about the program or application process.

The 79th session of American Legion Boys Nation begins this weekend with the arrival of 100 young men from across the country in the Beltway to participate in “a week that shapes a lifetime.”
From July 18-25, two “senators” representing each state except Hawaii, and the District of Columbia, will simulate the U.S. Senate through the political process. They’ll also elect a president, vice president, president pro tempore and secretary of the senate during their stay at Marymount University in Arlington, Va.
