Combining coaching skills with career modeling, Jim Higgins teaches teens and twenty-somethings how to align their career ambitions with their core values, interests and skills so they can have fulfilling and purpose-driven careers. Jim Higgins is a Career Coach that teaches teenagers and twenty-somethings the skill of career modeling so they can develop a rewarding career plan and eliminate their doubts about their future. As someone who’s been through the pain of changing careers, I've tested most of the popular advice and methods currently being given to career changers and I know what actually works. I spent my childhood dreaming of the day I’d conquer the world as a sports writer but after a 10-year career in sports journalism and sports public relations, a change was in order. Transitioning to a career in training and consulting, I discovered my true passion is helping people achieve their goals so I altered my path once more to coaching, where I can do that in my preferred method of working with people - a 1-on-1 setting. I spent a couple of years training and certifying to become a coach and I know have a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) credential from the Coaches Training Institute and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coach Federation. For those are interested in my previous schooling, I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah in Mass Communications. Instead of getting mired in the minutia of changing your career, accomplish your goals faster by letting me help you navigate your journey.
