Calling all DC high school science teachers! We are hosting an Amgen Biotech Experience Professional Development Institute course at Carnegie Institution for Science from March 21-22.
Teachers will learn and conduct the Abridged Genetic Engineering Sequence laboratories, which includes Transforming Bacteria with pARA-R Plasmid, Purifying Fluorescent Protein, and more.
Upon successful completion of the PDI, teachers will be eligible to borrow a lab kit that contains research-grade equipment and reagents to bring the to their students.
