The Howard University International Pals was founded in 1986. We create a "home away from home" for new incoming international students.

The Howard University International Pals in an organization that was founded in 1986 by Dr Grace Ansah. Today the I-pals stand as 50 active members from more than 10 different countries who live by the same dream of not only creating that "home away from home" for new incoming international students, but also to promote, highlight and educate the Howard community about the various cultures which populate and add to the unique experience of the university.

Greetings Ipal family,

It’s about that time of year…. it’s homecoming szn!! We are so excited to connect with our Ipal alum throughout homecoming week! Over the years many students, members, and alum have been asking for an International tent during tailgate and we are proud to finally say this year we have secured a tent!!

This year we are partnering with the Knights Fraternity Inc. in hosting a tent at tailgate. We are asking all members and alum contribute at least $20 towards the tent fee. In addition to paying the tent fee with the IPals, the Knights Fraternity Inc. will be providing food and drinks at the tent!! We ask all Ipals (coming or not!) support our efforts in celebrating our traditions and culture by sending their contributions via cash app; $IPalEvents or google wallet; [email protected]. Please reach out if another form of payment is needed! We appreciate everyones support and hope to see you all during homecoming!!

IPal Forward….. IPal Pull up!!

Silence is complicity. As a university community, we cannot afford to remain silent. We are asking you to consider joining the March and promoting leadership by standing in solidarity by rallying your fraternity, team, organization, and/or friends to support the cause, so together we can bring attention to the sexual violence crisis on our campus.
