Congratulations to Dr. Feng Qian, professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, on receiving the 2027 Lillian Jean Kaplan International Prize for Advancement in the Understanding of polycystic kidney disease!

An internationally recognized leader in PKD research, Dr. Qian has spent more than 25 years advancing the understanding of the disease and helping lay the foundation for mechanism-based treatments. His development and sharing of specialized research tools and resources have also strengthened the global PKD research community.

Dr. Qian will receive the award during the ISN World Congress of Nephrology 2027 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, taking place April 1-4, 2027.
