A grade tells you how your child performed. It doesn’t always tell you where the confusion began.

The $25 Virtual Math Readiness Assessment includes:

• Access to an IXL Diagnostic
• Professional review of the results
• A brief parent results meeting
• Identified strengths and learning gaps
• Personalized recommendations and next steps

Tutoring is not required.

I’m currently welcoming fifth-grade families, and the assessment is completed virtually.

A student can be confident before they even realize it.

During a recent tutoring session, I worked with a student who was strong in multiplication. When division became more challenging, she didn’t quit—she kept thinking, trying and making connections.

That’s why I don’t just teach answers.

We build confidence.
We strengthen concepts.
We develop critical thinkers.

Your child may know more than they believe they do. They may just need someone to help them see it.

My $25 Virtual Math Readiness Assessment is available through August 31.

Parents, what if you could stop guessing before the first report card comes home?

A child can practice for hours and still struggle if they’re practicing the wrong skills.

That’s why I created the $25 Back-to-School Math Assessment.

Your child will receive:

✅ An IXL Diagnostic
✅ A professional review of the results
✅ A short live thinking assessment
✅ A parent Zoom results review
✅ Personalized recommendations and next steps

You’ll leave knowing what your child understands, where the skill gaps are and what support would actually help.

You do not have to continue tutoring with me to receive your results and recommendations.

The virtual assessment is available for K–12 students through August 31.

Ready for clear answers? Visit https://square.link/u/6gRm3gOV or comment ASSESSMENT and I’ll send you the information.

The $25 assessment fee is nonrefundable. Tutoring is separate and not required.

AI can generate practice problems, but it can't replace the confidence-building a real tutor provides, and it can't recognize frustration or adjust its approach based on how a student is feeling.

I had an argument with a 90° angle.

It turns out it was right.

Math Confidence Tip:

Before you tell your child, “Try again,” ask:

“Where did it stop making sense?”

That one question can change the whole mood.

Because sometimes the issue is not the whole problem.

It may be one step.

One word.

One formula.

One missed explanation.

When we find the exact place where confusion started, we can rebuild from there.

Math confidence grows one clear step at a time.

Save this if your child gets frustrated during math homework.

Some students do not need more pressure.

They need someone to slow the math down.

When a child is struggling, it can look like they are not trying.

But sometimes they are trying.

They are just tired of feeling confused.

They are tired of getting it wrong.

They are tired of sitting in class pretending they understand.

That is where math confidence has to be rebuilt.

At Ivey’s K-12 Math, we focus on helping students understand the step they missed, rebuild their confidence, and believe they can learn again.

If your child is frustrated with math, comment MATH or message me their grade level.

Your child may not hate math.
They may hate feeling lost.

When students shut down, it is easy to think they are being lazy, distracted, or careless.

But many times, they are overwhelmed.

They missed a step.
They did not understand the explanation.
They got embarrassed.
They stopped asking questions.

Then math became “hard.”

At Ivey’s K-12 Math, we help students rebuild confidence one concept at a time.

Because math confidence is not just about getting the answer.

It is about helping students believe they are capable again.

If your child needs math support, comment **MATH** or message me their grade level.
