There have been some proposed changes by the current administration to the way we count our people. There are 8 major changes proposed. The proposed 2030 Census changes represent the most sweeping overhaul in modern census history, altering who is counted, how they are counted, and what demographic information is collected. These changes could significantly affect political representation, federal funding, and the quality of demographic data nationwide. We have until November 2 to make public comments. Please do some research and form your own opinions on the changes. Then make a public comment regarding your thoughts.
