Softness everywhere.

Also: shooting black & white film for the first time for this permanently changed me and this post is a great reminder that I need it more and more.

Storytelling that is always centered around you and your story, combined with a style that transcends trends for generations to come.

A table gathered beneath the trees, layered with candlelight, soft florals, and details that felt deeply connected to the landscape around it. A romantic atmosphere designed to invite presence, conversation, and the kind of moments that unfold naturally when everyone feels at ease.

The kind of setting that feels beautiful not only because of how it looked, but because of how it was experienced.

Some designs don’t follow trends.
They outlive them.

Thoughtful details, layered textures, timeless florals, candlelight, and a setting that feels both elevated and inviting. The kind of design that still feels beautiful years later because it was created with intention, not for a moment on the internet.

This stunning tablescape at Meridian House felt like a perfect reminder that timeless design will always have a place. 🤍

I've made so many new friends lately, it only feels right to introduce myself a little. If you're new here, hi, I’m Jennifer 🤍

I’m the second oldest of five, but the oldest sister and the one everyone calls. The steady one. The one who makes sure everyone feels cared for.

If there’s one thing that’s shaped me most, it’s the way my family loves…deeply, consistently, and across any distance.

It’s something I don’t take lightly.

It’s also something I know God has used to shape my heart—to value connection, to show up for others, and to care in a way that goes beyond the surface.

Because of that, my approach is rooted in empathy. I don’t just show up to document your day. I show up paying attention, anticipating what you need, and creating space for you to be fully present with the people you love most.

My husband Chris is an important part of this with me, not just in life but in the way we serve our couples. He’s alongside me on wedding days, steady and intentional in his own way, helping ensure everything flows with ease and care.

At home, you can find us cooking our way through TikTok recipes, raising our boys and learning as we go through our homeschool days, holding onto moments that feel small now but won’t always be.

As someone who has always been fascinated by history, stories, legacy, and lives lived before ours, I love that I get to photograph weddings here in Virginia and Washington, DC. These places hold so much meaning, and getting to preserve a piece of someone else’s story within them never feels ordinary.

Simply put, this work is a work of the heart for me. Inspired by legacy.

If you care deeply about your people, want to be present on your wedding day, and value what lasts long after it’s over, you’re in the right place.

Thank you for being here! 🤍

From the quiet of the morning to a dance floor that never stopped, this day was built with intention from beginning to end.

S + O’s wedding at The St. Regis Washington, D.C. was thoughtfully designed, with every detail reflecting their people, creating an experience that was felt as much as observed.

Not just a beautiful day, but a shared one.

Your wedding day isn’t just something you plan; it’s something you feel. Remember, it’s not just how it looked, but how it moved, how it unfolded, and how it felt to be there. That’s why your experience is carefully tailored around you, so you can be fully present, with every moment captured with depth, purpose, and honesty.

This is what dreams are made of…Am I right?!

Anything touches turns to gold. A highlight of my career is having had the opportunity to photograph her beautiful art and to have shared the most amazing weeks in France, creating and dreaming. So naturally when she came to DC I had to be there.
