ok, so i know i'm in college and CRHS STAND is no longer a club, but...if you go onto the genocide intervention network's website (genocideintervention.net), there is a letter campain to senators menendez and lautenberg urging them to take action concerning China's relations with the Sudanese government. it takes only a minute and it's a big help.

In anti-genocide news: Congress and the Senate both passed the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act and the bill is waiting to be signed by the President now. THis is a HUGE step in ending the violence in Uganda!

I am sorry to say that STAND's YogaPalooza has been turned down by the Phys Ed department. This means that we will have no more events of our own this year. But we'll still have a stand at the art show, and we might have some more delicious pastries in the coffee shop tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who supported us this year, and here's to an even better year in 2010-2011.
